vt．①扣紧，结牢，关紧，钉住：fasten a horse to a tree把马拴在树上．fasten all the doors and windows把所有的门窗关紧．fasten a picture on the wall把画钉在墙上．②(用眼睛等)盯住，(将罪等)加于(on，upon)：fasten one’s eyes on sb．用眼睛盯住某人．fasten a nickname on sb．给某人起绰号．
