【释义】：

幼而智胜老而愚；

Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foollish king, who will no more be admonished.

For out of prison he cometh to reign; whereas also he that is bom in his kingdom becometh poor.

I consider all the living which walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.

There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Eccl.4:13-16

贫穷而有智慧的少年人，胜过年老不肯纳谏的愚昧王。

这人虽然在他国中，出生贫穷，但从监牢中出来执政为王。

我见日光之下一切行动的活人，都随从那继位者，即起来代替老王的少年人。

拥护他为领袖的百姓，多得无数。但日后那些后来的人，却不喜悦他，这真是虚空，也是捕风。
