【释义】：

基督徒；(喻)追随者

Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unlo the Lord.

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

Who. when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Acts, 11:19-26

那些因司提反的事遭患难四散的门徒，直走到腓尼基，和居比路，并安提阿；他们不向别人讲道，只向犹太人讲。

但内中有居比路、和古利奈人，他们到了安提阿，也向希利尼人传讲主耶稣(有古卷作，也向说希利尼话的犹太人，传讲主耶稣)。

主与他们同在，信而归主的人就很多了。

这风声传到耶路撒冷教会人的耳中，他们就打发巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿为止；

他到了那里，看见上帝所赐的恩就欢喜，劝勉众人，立定心志，恒久靠主。

这巴拿巴原是个好人，被圣灵充满，大有信心；于是有许多人归服了主。

他又往大数去找扫罗，

找着了，就带他到安提阿去。他们足有一年的功夫，和教会一同聚集，教训了许多人；门徒称为基督徒，是从安提阿开始。
