【释义】：

希耳米；(喻)传递信息的人

And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed.

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet.and he leaped and walked.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out.

And saying. Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.

The Acts 14:8-15

路司得城里，坐着一个两脚无力的人，生来是瘸腿的，从来没有走过。

他听保罗讲道。保罗定睛看他，见他有信心，可得痊愈，就大声说，“你起来，两脚站直!”那人就跳起来而且行走。

众人看见保罗所作的事，就用吕高尼的话，大声说，“有神借着人形，降临在我们中间了。”

于是称巴拿巴为丢斯，称保罗为希耳米，因为他说话领首。

有城外丢斯庙的祭司，牵着牛，拿着花圈，来到门前，要同众人向使徒献祭。

巴拿巴，保罗，两使徒听见，就撕开衣裳，跳进众人中间，喊着说，

“诸君!为甚么作这事呢?我们也是人，性情和你们一样；我们传福音给你们，是叫你们离弃这些虚妄，归向那创造天，地，海，和其中万物的永生上帝。”
