【释义】:

立碑为证。

And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth ihee, that thou shall set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:

And thou shall write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayesl go in unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day. in mount Ebal, and thou shall plaster them with plaster.

Deul.27:1-4

摩西和以色列的众长老吩咐百姓说:“你们要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切诫命。

你们过约旦河,到了耶和华你神所赐给你的地,当天要立起儿块大石头,墁上石灰,

把这律法的一切话写在石头上。你过了河,可以进入耶和华你神所赐你流奶与蜜之地,正如耶和华你到祖之神所应许你的。

你们进了约旦河,就要在以巴路山上,照我今日所吩咐的,将这些石头立起来,墁上石灰。
