【释义】：

普琳节；(喻)命运节

In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.

Esther.3:7

亚哈随鲁王十二年正月，就是尼散月，人在哈曼面前，按日日月月掣普珥，就是掣签，要定何月何日为吉，择定了十二月，就是亚达月。

《以斯帖记》3∶7

And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far.

To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly.

As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.

And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them;

Because Haman the son of Hammedaiha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews lo destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them;

末底改记录这事，写信与亚哈随鲁王各省远近所有的犹大人，

嘱咐他们每年守亚达月十四、十五两日，

以这月的两日为犹大人脱离仇敌得平安，转忧为喜、转悲为乐的吉日。在这两日设筵欢乐，彼此馈送礼物，周济穷人。

于是，犹大人按着末底改所写与他们的信，应承照初次所守的守为永例。

是因犹大人的仇敌亚甲族哈米大他的儿子哈曼，设谋杀害犹大人，掣普珥，就是掣签，为要杀尽灭绝他们。
