a．①(用于疑问句、条件句)任何，什么，一些：Have you any difficulties in your work?你工作中有什么困难吗?If you want any help，please tell me．你如果需要什么帮助，请告诉我．in any case无论如何．②(用于否定句)任何，什么也，一点也：We haven’t any doubt about the final victory of the Vietnamese people．我们确信越南人民会取得最后胜利．③(用于肯定句)任何，无论什么：Any time will do．什么时间都行．
－pron．(sing．& pl．)哪个，无论谁，无论多少：Does any of you know where Comrade Li lives?你们有谁知道李同志住哪儿吗?Give me some if there is any．有就给我一点儿．
－ad．(用于疑问句、条件句、否定句，并常与比较级连用)稍，…些，少许，略微：Do you feel any better?你好些了吗?Adopt it，if it is any good．好就采用吧．any the better(worse)for(用于否定句)因…而好(坏)些：He took some medicine but isn’t any the better for it．他吃了药但并没有因此好一些．
