vt．①要求(应得权利)，要求承认，认领：claim the protection of the law要求法律的保护．Has anyone claimed the bunch of keys?有谁来认领那串钥匙吗?②声称，自称，主张，断言：He claimed to be the best skater in the school．他自称是学校里最好的滑冰运动员．He claimed that he had made great contribution．他扬言自己贡献很大．③值得，需要(注意)：The present situation claims our serious attention．当前形势值得我们密切注视．
