【释义】：
n．①比例：direct(inverse) proportion 正(反)比例．in proportion to按照…的比例：narrow in proportion to the height就其高度的比例而言是狭窄的．the proportion of two to five二与五之比．②(常pl．)相称，均衡，调和：a drawing of good proportions一幅各方面很调和的图画．out of proportion 不相称，不调和．They are in admirable proportion．他们非常相称．③(pl．)大小，容积：a building of magnificent proportions一座宏伟的建筑物．④部分，份：a large proportion of the total总数中的大部分．
