【释义】：
a．①(bad的比较级)更坏，还要坏：make matters worse 使事情更糟糕．worse than a crime太不象话．be worse off经济情况不好：His clothes are the worse for wear．他的衣服穿破了．②(ill的比较级，只作表语)(健康等)更差：He is getting worse．他的病更重了．
－ad．(badly，ill的比较级)更坏，更厉害：It’s snowing worse than ever．雪下得比平常大多了．none the worse 还是，仍旧．I like the child none the worse for being a bit naughty．这孩子虽然有点顽皮，但我还是喜欢他．
