【释义】：

亚干认罪；(喻)罪有应得

And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.

And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:

When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shakels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

Josh.7:19-21

约书亚对亚干说：“我儿，我劝你将荣耀归给耶和华以色列的神，在他面前认罪。

将你所作的事告诉我，不要向我隐瞒。”

亚干回答约书亚说：“我实在得罪了耶和华以色列的神。我所作的事如此如此，

我在所夺的财物中，看见一件美好的示拿衣服、二百舍客勒银子、一条金子重五十舍客勒，我就贪爱这些物件，便拿去了。现今藏在我帐棚内的地里，银子在衣服底下。”
