【释义】：

他便低下头，将灵魂交付上帝；(喻)完成任务而死去

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother s sister, Mary the wife of Cle-6-phas, and Mary Mag-da-lene.

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother ! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

John 19:25-30

站在耶稣十字架旁边的，有他母亲与他母亲的姐妹，并革罗罢的妻子马利亚和抹大拉的马利亚。

耶稣见母亲和他所爱的那门徒站在旁边，就对他母亲说：“母亲，看你的儿子!”

又对那门徒说：“看你的母亲!”从此那门徒就接她到自己家里去了。

这事以后，耶稣知道各样的事已经成了，为要使经上的话应验，就说：“我渴了!”

有一个器皿盛满了醋，放在那里，他们就拿海绒蘸满了醋，绑在牛膝草上，送到他口。

耶稣尝了那醋，就说：“成了!”便低下头，将灵魂交付神了。
