与所罗门立约；(喻)树碑

That the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.

And the Lord said unto him. I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

Then T will establish the throne of the kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among the people:

And at this house, which is high, every one that passelh by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house?

And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God. who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.

1 Kings 9:2-9

耶和华就二次向所罗门显现，如先前在基遍向他显现一样。

对他说：“你向我所祷告祈求的，我都应允了。我已将你所建的这殿分别为圣，使我的名永远在其中；我的眼、我的心，也必常在那里。

你若效法你父大卫，存诚实正直的心行在我面前，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例典章。

我就必坚固你的国位在以色列中，直到永远，正如我应许你父大卫说：‘你的子孙必不断人坐以色列的国位。

倘若你们和你们的子孙转去不跟从我，不守我指示你们的诫命律例，去事奉敬拜别神。

我就必将以色列人从我赐给他们的地上剪除；并且我为已名所分别为圣的殿，也必舍弃不顾，使以色列人在万民中作笑谈，被讥诮。

这殿虽然甚高，将来经过的人必惊讶、嗤笑，说：‘耶和华为何向这殿如此行呢?’

人必回答说：“是因此地的人离弃领他们列祖出埃及地之耶和华他们的神，去亲近别的神，事奉敬拜他。所以耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。

”
