【释义】：

雅各举家迁往埃及。

And Israel took his journey with all that he had,and came to Beer-shcba. and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said. Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

And he said, I am God. the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation.

I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh-had sent to carry him.

And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in

the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with

him:

His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.

Gen.46:1-7

以色列(雅各)带着一切所有的，起身来到别是巴，就献祭给他父亲以撒的神。

夜间，神在异象中对以色列说：“雅各，雅各!”他说：“我在这里!”

神说：“我是神，就是你父亲的神。

你下埃及去不要害怕，因为我必使你在那里成为大族。

我要和你同下埃及去，也必定带你上来。

约瑟必给你送终。”

雅各就从别是巴起行。以色列的儿子们使他们的父亲雅各和他们的妻子、儿女都坐在法老为雅各送来的车上。

他们又带着在迦南地所得的牲畜、货财来到埃及。雅各和他的一切子孙都一同来了。

雅各把他的儿子、孙子、女儿、孙女，并他的子子孙孙，一同带到埃及。
