【释义】：

耶和华；(原义)《旧约》中上帝或神的名字；(喻)唯一的神，真神

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

And God said unto Moses. 1 AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Exod.3:13-15

摩西对神说：“我到以色列人那里，对他们说：‘你们祖宗的神打发我到你们这里来。

’他们若问我说：‘他叫什么名字?’我要对他们说什么呢?”

神对摩西说：“我是自有永有的。”又说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘那自有的打发我到你们这里来。’”

神又对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘耶和华你们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神，打发我到你们这里来。耶和华是我的名，直到永远；这也是我的纪念，直到万代。’”
