【释义】:

用脚踢尖锐物;(喻)螳臂挡车,自不量力

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest.

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

扫罗仍然向主的门徒口吐威吓凶杀的话,去见大祭司,

求文书给大色的各会堂,若是找着信奉这道的人,无论男女,都准他捆绑带到耶路撒冷。

扫罗行路,将到大马色,忽然从天上发光,四面照着他。

他就扑倒在地,听见有声音对他说:“扫罗,扫罗!你为什么逼迫我?”

他说:“主啊,你是谁?”主说:“我就是你所逼迫的耶稣。起来!进城去,你所当作的事,必有人告诉你。”
