【释义】:

不能更改的法律;(喻)金科玉律

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king,and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Dan.6:4-8

那时总长和总督找寻但以理误国的把炳,为要参他;只是找不着他的错误过失,因他忠心办事,毫无错误过失。

那些人便说:“我们要找参这但以理的把炳,除非在他神的律法中就寻不着。”

于是,总长和总督纷纷聚集来见王说:“愿大利乌王万岁!

国中的总长、钦差、总督、谋士和巡抚彼此商议,要立一条坚定的禁令,三十日内不拘何人,若在王以外或向神、或向人求什么,就必扔在狮子坑中。

王啊,现在求你立这禁令,加盖玉玺,使禁令决不更改,照玛代和波斯人的例,是不可更改的。”
