摩西临终嘱咐；(喻)托后事

And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.

And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the Lord hath said unto me, Thou shall not go over this Jordan.

The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shall possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said.

And the Lord shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.

And the Lord shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel. Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and unto all the elders of Israel.

Deut.3l:l-9

摩西去告诉以色列众人，

(他)说：“我现在一百二十岁了，不能照常出入，耶和华也曾对我说：‘你必不得过这约旦河。

’

耶和华你们的神必引导你们过去，将这些国民在你们面前灭绝，你们就得他们的地。约书亚必引导你们过去，正如耶和华所说的。

耶和华必待他们，如同他所灭绝的亚摩利二王、西宏与噩以及他们的国一样。

耶和华必将他们交给你们，你们要照我吩咐的一切命令待他们。

你们当刚强壮胆，不要害怕，也不要畏惧他们，因为耶和华你的神和你同去。他必不撇下你也不丢弃你。

”

摩西召了约书亚来，在以色列众人眼前对他说：“你当刚强壮胆，因为你要和这百姓一同进入耶和华向他们列祖起誓应许所赐之地。你也要使他们承受那地为业。

耶和华必在你前面行，他必与你同在，必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。

不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。

”

摩西将这律法写出来，交给抬耶和华约柜的祭司利未子孙和以色列的众长老。
