【释义】：

拿单(以色列王大卫的预言家)

And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the Lord had given him rest round about from all his enemies;

That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth with in curtains.

And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Lord is with thee.

And came to pass that night, that the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying,

Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the Lord, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in ?

Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the lime that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom 1 commanded to feed my people Israel, saying. Why build ye not me an house of cedar?

Now therefose so shalt thou say unto my servant David. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel.

2 Sam.7:l-8

王(指大卫)住在自己宫中，耶和华使他安靖，不被四围的仇敌扰乱。

那时，王对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，神的约柜反在幔子里。”

拿单对王说：“你可以照你的心意而行，因为耶和华与你同在。”

当夜耶和华的话临到拿单说：

“你去告诉我仆人大卫说，耶和华如此说：‘你岂可建造殿宇给我居住呢?

自从我领以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇，常在会幕和帐幕中行走。

凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列一支派的士师；就是我吩咐牧养我民以色列的说；你们为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢?

现在你要告诉我仆人大卫说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再跟从羊群，立你作我以色列的君。’”
