【释义】：

用石击毙；(喻)归罪

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Levi. 20:1-2

耶和华对摩西说：

“你还要晓谕以色列人说：凡以色列人、或是在以色列中寄居的外人，把自己的儿女献给摩洛的，总要治死他。

本地人要用石头把他打死。”

And the men of his city, even the ciders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.

They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.

And there came in two men. children of Belial, and sat before him: and ihe men of Belial witnessed againsl him, even againsl Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

Then they sent to Jezebel, saying. Naboth is sloned. and is dead.

1 Kings.21:9-14

信上写着说：“你们当宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民间的高位上，

又叫两个匪徒坐在拿伯对面，作见证告他说：‘你谤渎神和王了’；随后就把它拉出去用石头打死。”

那些与拿伯同城居住的长老贵胄，得了耶洗别的信，就照信而行；

宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民间的高位上。

有两个匪徒来，坐在拿伯的对面，当着众民作见证告他说：“拿伯谤渎神和王了。”众人就把他拉到城外，用石头打死。

于是打发人去见耶洗别说：“拿伯被石头打死了。”
