【释义】：

你们的列祖今何在?(劝民归主)

In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the Lord unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying.

The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.

Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said. Like as the Lord of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Zech. 1:1-6

大利乌王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子比利家的儿子先知撒迦利亚，说：

“耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。

所以你要对以色列人说，‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们要转向我，我就转向你们。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

不要效法你们列祖。从前的先知呼叫他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们要回头离开你们的恶道恶行。’他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。

你们的列祖在哪里呢?那些先知能永远存活吗?

只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗?你们就回头说：‘万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。’”
