【释义】：

约伯的慰问者；(喻)实质给人增添痛苦

Now when Job s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; E-li-phaz the Te-man-ite, and Bildad the Shu-hite. and Zo-phar the Na-am-a-thite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

And when they lifted up their eyes afar off. and knew him not. they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

So they sat down with him upon the grund seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word upon him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

Job2∶11－13

约伯的三个朋友，提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达、拿玛人琐法，听说有这一切的灾祸临到他身上，各人就从本处约会同来，为他悲伤，安慰他。

他们远远地举目观看，认不出他来，就放声大哭。各人撕裂外袍，把尘土向天扬起来，落在自己头上。

他们就同他七天七夜坐在地上，一个人也不向他说句话，因为他极其痛苦。
