【释义】：

所罗门求智慧；(喻)天赐聪明智慧

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant King instead of David my father: And I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.

Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for understanding to discern judgment;

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

1 Kings 3:6-12

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫用诚实、公义、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又为他存留大恩，赐他一个儿子坐在他的位上，正如今日一样。

耶和华我的神啊，如今你使仆人接续我父亲大卫作王。但我是幼童，不知道应当怎样出入。

仆人住在你所拣选的民中，这民多得不可胜数。

所以求你赐我智慧，可以判断你的民，能辨别是非。不然，谁能判断这

众多的民呢?”

所罗门因为求这事，就蒙主喜悦。

神对他说：“你既然求这事，不为自己求寿，求富，也不求灭绝你仇敌的性命，单求智慧，可以诉讼。

我就应允你所求的，赐你聪明智慧；甚至在你以前没有像你的，在你以后也没有像你的。”
