雅各的儿子计杀示剑族；(喻)报仇；解恨

And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:

And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;

Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.

But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son.

And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.

And Hamor and Shechcm his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying.

These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters.

Only herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us. to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised. Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of their's be our's? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.

And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

And it came to pass on the third day. when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob. Simeon and Levi. Dinah's brethren, look each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and look Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out.

Gen.34:13-26

雅各的儿子们，因为示剑玷污了他们的妹子底拿，就用诡诈的话回答示剑和他父亲哈抹。

对他们说：“我们不能把我们的妹子给没有受割礼的人为妻，因为那是我们的羞辱。

唯有一件才可以应允，若你们所有的男丁都受割礼，和我们一样，

我们就把女儿给你们，也娶你们的女儿，我们便与你们同住，两下成为一样的人民；

倘若你们不听从我们受割礼，我们就带着妹子走了。”

哈抹和他的儿子示剑喜欢这话。

那少年人作这事并不迟延，因为他喜爱雅各的女儿。

他在他父亲家中也是人最尊重的。

哈抹和他儿子示剑到本城的门口，对本城的人说：

“这些人与我们和睦，不如许他们在这地居住，作买卖，这地也宽阔，足可容下他们。我们可以娶他们的女儿为妻，也可以把我们的女儿嫁给他们。

惟有一件事我们必须作，他们才肯应允和我们同住，成为一样的人民，就是我们中间所有的男丁都要受割礼，和他们一样。

他们的群畜、货财和一切的牲口岂不都归我们吗?只要依从他们，他们就与我们同住。

”

凡从城门出入的人，就都听从哈抹和他儿子示剑的话。

于是，凡从城门出入的男丁都受了割礼。

到第三天，众人正在疼痛的时候，雅各的两个儿子，就是底拿的哥哥面缅和利未，各拿刀剑，趁着众人想不到的时候，来到城中，把一切男丁都杀了，又用刀杀了哈抹和他儿子示剑，把底拿从示剑家里带出来就走了。
