什一税(基督教会向信徒收取的一种宗教贡献)

And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh. which is the king's dale.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was the priest of the most high God.

And he blessed him. and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hands.And he gave him tithes of all.

Gen. 14:17-20

亚伯兰杀败基大老玛和与他同盟的王回来的时候，所多玛王出来在沙微谷迎接他；沙微谷就是王谷。

又有撒冷王麦基洗德带着饼和酒出来迎接，他是至高神的祭司。

他为亚伯兰祝福，说：“愿天地的主，至高的神赐福与亚伯兰。

至高的神把敌人交在你手里，是应当称颂的”。亚伯兰就把所得的拿出十分之一来给麦基洗得。

《创世纪》14∶17－20

And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the lop of it.

And he called the name of that place Beth-el; but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.

And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on.

So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God:

And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shall give me 1 will surely give the tenth into thee.

Gen.28:18-22

雅各清早起来，把所枕的石头立作柱子，浇油在上面。

他就给那地方起名叫伯特利；但那地方起先名叫路基。

雅各许愿说：“神若与我同在，在我所行的路上保佑我，又给我食物吃、衣服穿，

使我平平安安的回到我父亲的家，我就必以耶和华为我的神。

我所立为柱子的石头也必作为神的殿，凡你所赐给我的，我必将十分之一献给你。
